Jaden Harding is the owner and artist behind Pacific Borne Jewelry. Growing up on the California coast, she developed a deep connection to the ocean that inspired her to study Marine Biology and Environmental Studies at UC Santa Barbara. There, she worked as a scientific diver and environmental law assistant, spending countless hours both underwater and advocating for the protection of marine ecosystems. After graduating, Jaden followed her passion to Oʻahu, where she now works as a jewelry artist, drawing upon her background as a marine biologist, scuba instructor, and yoga teacher. Pacific Borne was born from her desire to create timeless, water-friendly jewelry that reflects a life spent exploring the ocean.

Jaden has been perfecting her craft since 2020, when she launched her first jewelry business, SeaJade Jewelry. What began as handcrafted sea glass jewelry also became an opportunity to give back, with a portion of every sale donated to support the Black Lives Matter movement. After taking a step back to focus on completing her degree, she rediscovered jewelry making in Hawaiʻi after finding a local supplier that carried the high-quality 14k gold fill and sterling silver materials she had always envisioned using. That fresh start became the foundation for Pacific Borne.

Today, every piece is handcrafted with love and intention. Jaden prides herself on her commitment to detail, prioritizing quality over quantity in every design. Continuing her belief that small businesses can create meaningful change, Pacific Borne donates 5% of every purchase to Mālama Learning Center to support environmental education and mālama ʻāina initiatives across Hawaiʻi.
